Reservations

When can I reserve items for? 

You can reserve items for collection at our next opening. Reserved items can be collected from 9am on that day. Please note, you cannot make reservations further into the future. 

How many items may I reserve? 

You may reserve up to 6 items in 1 basket. Only 1 basket is permitted, so be sure to add all items you want to reserve before clicking the 'reserve' button. If you make a mistake, please delete your reservation/basket and start again. If you reserve more than 6 items in your basket, this exceeds the borrowing limit and we will delete your additional reservations. 

How long can I reserve items for? 

Reservations must be made for the maximum borrowing time of 4 weeks, though you are welcome to return your items after 2 weeks and choose new items to borrow. 

When will the next reservation period open? 

After each library opening the next reservation period will become available. This should take place by 9am the following day. Please note, reservations close at 8am on the day of our opening. Reservations made after this time will not be seen or collected. 

Can I reserve an item that is currently out on loan?

Unfortunately not. We do not have the volunteer capacity to track items being returned during our busy openings or the space to store larger items out of the way. This is something we have offered in the past but is no longer feasible. We hope to be able to offer this option again in the future with a larger space and more volunteers.
